Serving Sizes

The nutritional information for recipes is calculated per portion. By default you're provided the nutritional information for a serving that is equal to one portion, but you can change that to indicate a serving size multiple portions or fractions of portions.

In the example below, the serving size for the goat cheese quiche is half a portion.

If you want to obtain nutritional information for a certain amount of a dish, such as per cup, or per ounce, you can do that by defining the recipe as a sub-recipe, entering the quantity that it "makes:" (for example 2.5 cups, or 1.3lb), and then in the serving size section of nutritional information, enter the serving size you need, such as 1 cup, or 3 ounces.
